​If you are a Nordic skier and have never experienced Thanksgiving week in West Yellowstone, Montana, start planning for next year right now! Each year the West Yellowstone Ski Education Foundation organizes an event that includes  a series of  Nordic skiing clinics, SuperTour races, Biathlon races,  On Snow Gear Demo, an Indoor Ski Show, and a variety of presentations, clinics, and classes.  The Festival http://www.skirunbikemt.com/ draws skiers from around the world to start the Nordic season on the edge of Yellowstone National Park. 
The primary goal of WYSEF is to bring children and adults of the community together through cross country skiing, a lifetime learning activity which promotes physical fitness and appreciation of our natural environment.

Here at Morning Glory we are thankful for this terrific event, the volunteers that organize and run it and the countless skiers, young and old that we have met over the years. Great coffee and great skiing, what could be better!

With the Holidays upon us, and the introduction of our new website, we have seen an increase in online sales. Freshness has always been of great importance at Morning Glory. How we package and ship our coffees after roasting is crucial to how it tastes when it reaches your cup. 
Coffee is sensitive to oxygen, moisture, light and odor. Our specially produced bags insure protection from the elements, while a one-way degassing valve allows for the release of naturally occurring carbon dioxide. When you open your bag of Morning Glory, you are greeted with a fresh aroma and a quality cup each and every time.
After opening we recommend storing your coffee in an airtight, dry place. Do not place in the refrigerator or freezer, where your coffee will be affected by moisture and odors. 

Thanksgiving in West Yellowstone, Montana means skiing. This week is full of events, clinics, demos and races during the Yellowstone Ski Festival http://www.skirunbikemt.com/. During this time of year, the west entrance to Yellowstone National Park is closed to vehicles, so the skiers are a welcome change to a slow time. At Morning Glory it's business as usual. The roaster is humming along with Patrick at the helm. Today we are preparing coffees for wholesale accounts, here in West Yellowstone, and for our neighbors to the north in Bozeman, Montana.
